Full Sail University Graduate Brad Czerkies, Wins National Silver ADDY Award
Full Sail University is proud to recognize 2006 Recording Arts graduate Brad Czerkies, on his nomination and win of a National Silver ADDY Award in Sound Design. Czerkies won for his work on a video for the Harris Corporation highlighting the effectiveness of a haptic robot used for explosive ordnance removal, and received the award at the National ADDY Awards gala held in San Diego on Saturday, June 4, 2011.
The ADDY Awards is a highly respected ad competition produced by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). Those competing for a National ADDY must first be winners at the local and state levels. The video entitled EOD Haptic Robot earned seven local ADDY Awards, including Best of Show, and the Sound Design entry went on to win at the state and national levels.
This is the first project where I was able to test all of the skills that I learned during my education at Full Sail, said Czerkies. God has blessed me with great talent and I'm glad to put it to good use and to be honored by my peers for this award.
Currently, Czerkies is an audio engineer and video editor for the Melbourne Beach, FL based video company, Coalter Digital. The company specializes in making 3D animations and films for defense contractors.
As a member of our alumni, Full Sail is proud to congratulate Brad on this tremendous accomplishment of taking home a National ADDY Award, said Jay Noble, Director of Alumni. It is an honor to share this exciting achievement with our current students and we look forward to Brads continued success in the future.
