EWI Worldwide, a global, live communications company, has appointed Susan Henderson as Director of Client Services in the Events Division. Henderson will be leading opportunities for growth within conferences, sponsorship activations and consumer and customer events; primarily responsible for developing U.S.-based corporate events and hospitality programs.
Susans depth of experience, diverse knowledge and robust industry network will directly benefit our clients, supporting the development and delivery of world-class programs, said Suzanne Wells Miell, President, Events Division at EWI Worldwide. Her skill set is an ideal fit for a changing industry that is in demand of partners that can execute in the most consistent, efficient and cost-effective manner possible. Henderson will help build on EWI Worldwide's well-established experience producing business theatre and PR events, inviting brands from diverse industries to consolidate their global event programs.
Henderson brings to the role over 20 years of experience running her own award-winning destination management company in Atlanta, Ga., working with well-known brands including Coca-Cola, GE, Home Depot, Microsoft, NBC and Pfizer. A Certified Meeting Professional and sought-after speaker at events industry programs, Henderson is also a contributing author to the university and college textbook Best Practices in Destination Management in addition to several white papers and magazine articles. She has served on the boards of the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Southeast chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association, Zoo Atlanta, the Foundation for Hospital Art and the Association of Destination Management Professionals. Henderson will be based in Orlando, Fla.
