Firehouse Moustache Wax and STA-BIL Mower Racing Series Promote Men's Health with "MOWvember"

In support of the international Movember movement to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, Firehouse Moustache Wax http://www.firehousemoustachewax.com has joined the STA-BIL Lawn and Garden Mower Racing Series http://www.letsmow.com to promote mens health by supporting the MOWvember Moustache Contest.


During November of each year, the Movember charitable movement http://us.movember.com/ is responsible for the sprouting of mustaches on thousands of mens faces across the US and around the world. With their moustaches, these men raise vital funds and awareness for mens health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.


With the support of its 20-year Title Sponsor STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer http://www.goldeagle.com/brands/stabil/default.aspx the U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association (USLMRA) announced its own MOWvember, and will support this international effort with an Official USLMRA Movember.com Fundraising Team https://www.movember.com/us/donate/your-details/team_id/211674 and a USLMRA MOWvember Moustache Contest.


Were big supporters of the Movember movement and are glad to be a part of the effort to raise money for prostate cancer research and Livestrong, said John Pitts, founder of Firehouse Moustache Wax. When I first contemplated the idea of marketing a wax, I wanted to give something back to organizations who help lots of people. This is a guiding principle of our company. Thats why were mowtivated to support the Movember movement.

On Movember 1st, guys registered at Movember.com with a clean-shaven face. For the rest of the month, these men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts. Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November. Through their actions and words they raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often-ignored issue of mens health. At the end of the month, Mo Bros and Mo Sistas celebrate by either throwing their own Movember party or attending one of the Gala Part
